Laura Mercier’s looking-glass of hope

Raising funds for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

“A chic, whimsical looking-glass of hope” is how make-up maven Laura Mercier describes her illustrated mirror (£15, pictured), launched to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, along with a limited-edition crème-colour cheek palette (£37). The latter includes three blushers, a bronzer and highlighter inspired by Mercier’s celebrity clients seeking an instant, healthy “no make-up” glow.

Profits will be donated to the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund, founded in 2012 to increase awareness and help diagnose, treat and support sufferers in the UK and US. The charity has since raised $125,000, funding the first dedicated ovarian cancer research centre in London, as well as studies into high relapse rates and why many women become resistant to chemotherapy.
