Trunk has launched a made-to-measure tailoring service

Trunk, the London men’s outfitter known for its sophisticated selection of European and Japanese labels, this month introduces its own made-to-measure tailoring service (jackets, from £700; suits, from £900) using cloths from exceptional mills such as Loro Piana and Ariston alongside more outré choices such as denim tweed (jackets, from £950; suits, from £1,300) and Tasmanian lightweight 150s (jackets, from £1,000; suits, from £1,350). Two- or three-piece single-breasted suits are built around a house block with unstructured shoulders, full lapels and neat single-pleat trousers that taper nicely. The suits take six weeks to make in Trunk’s Italian factory, and final small adjustments are made after a single fitting.
