When Nadège Gaultier and Laura Goninet created Confiture Parisienne last autumn, the tiny artisanal jam company became an instant cult brand in France and the US, selling over 4,000 of its chic white-lacquered glass pots in just two months. The innovative flavour combinations, handmade in Nadège’s kitchen in Paris, change with the seasons (pear, chestnut and tonka bean for autumn; wild strawberry and basil for summer), but this carrot, passion fruit and vanilla variety is a year-round bestseller, its sweetness perfectly tempered by the tanginess of the fruit.
