An opulent e-store for those with a taste for the hard-to-get-hold-of

Fine jewellers Niquesa launches an e-store filled with gems across categories from fashion to interiors

The co-founders of Belgravia-based fine jewellery store Niquesa have recently extended their reach with the launch of the opulent e-store Niquesa.com, which showcases gifts and personal luxuries across categories such as fashion, interiorswines and spirits. The USP of the site is to offer hard-to-get-hold-of pieces in one place, with many exclusive-to-the-UK items such as a Laudarte 1950 Box floor lamp (£3,050), Luzli Roller MK01 headphones (£3,325), The Cambridge Distillery Watenshi Gin (£2,000) or a Colorado bouclé overcoat (£6,530) by Neapolitan tailor Isaia.

Where “price on request” is indicated, this specifies the item in question is sold “drop ship” – which means that Niquesa doesn’t currently have that item in stock but will get hold of it through its network of suppliers. Previous examples include a much-coveted Hermès Kelly bag (£12,750 when sold); or, right now, a green crocodile Birkin bag (£52,250) or a Zenith Noir chandelier by Philippe Starck (price on request).

Each customer is assigned a dedicated personal assistant who is on hand to guide customers on items, which arrive (in London only, for now) by way of a uniformed Niquesa Companion. “Our philosophy is about delivering a highly personal approach, with unparalleled service,” says founder and group CEO Luigi de Simone. An additional source of inspiration and product knowledge will soon be showcased online through interviews and behind-the-scenes online footage with artisans and industry experts.
