Flapper chic combines with oriental elegance in Violet & Wren’s brilliant blue silk satin turban. British co-founders Louise Barnard and Helen Pollington collaborated with florists from Jane Packer on a handpainted design inspired by Japanese botanical artist Keika Hasegawa’s drawings in One Hundred Chrysanthemums, printed in 1893. The voluptuous bloom is the symbol of the sun, long life and nobility in Japanese culture, and the country’s de facto national flower.
