The Zetter Hotel, in the heart of Clerkenwell, has long been a mecca for a stylish crowd looking for a deliciously mixed cocktail or thoughtful dining. Now it is set to furnish the needs of the local working community, with the opening of a business members’ club next month.
Operated by Central Working, which runs five other business members’ clubs in London and Manchester, the club will provide a hub for entrepreneurs during the day. By night, the space – which covers the Atrium and the lounge and wine bar that held Bruno Loubet’s recent pop-up restaurant – will be open to the public for cocktails, wines by the glass and seasonal small plates.
“We admire the way that Central Working are invested in the success of their members, and their focus on providing the right environment for creativity and growth,” says Michael Benyan, partner at The Zetter Group. “It makes them ideal collaborators on this project. We know how to create memorable, luxurious spaces, how to look after our guests and to provide them with the best possible fuel for their day, so we are looking forward to extending the Zetter approach to hospitality to our club members and the Central Working network.”
After an extensive refurbishment, the club will open its doors in February. Members will be within walking distance of the tech heartland of Silicon Roundabout and will also be able to enjoy discounted rates on rooms. Membership starts at £99 per month for an Explorer membership (hot desking), £349 per month for the Local membership (fixed permanent desk space) and £449 for the private office Native membership.
“Collaborating with The Zetter Group on this new club just makes sense,” adds James Layfield, founder and CEO, Central Working. “Not only is The Zetter Hotel located in one of London’s fastest-growing entrepreneurial hotspots, but we have a combined focus on creating beautiful spaces, a community in which to thrive and leading service. We are excited about opening the doors to members and helping their businesses grow.”
