The Indonesian Archipelago is one of this year’s hottest destinations – specifically Raja Ampat, an archipelago of some 1,500 small islands off the northwest coast of New Guinea where Amanresorts’ 32m coastal cruiser, the elegant, black-hulled Amanikan (pictured), will be from November 2012 to February 2013 (

The five-night expedition cruise costs from £4,743 per person based on six people sharing three cabins, and includes all food, non-alcoholic drinks, airport transfers, dives, trekking, beach excursions, speed-boat tours, kayaking and national park entrance fees.
