For the first time in its history, The Lanesborough will host a New Year’s Eve House Party, which it promises will be the chicest in the city.
Guests will be served a glass of Moët & Chandon on arrival at the five-star address, as The Library Bar team prepares to serve cocktails and the hotel’s Michelin-starred executive chef Steeven Gilles takes to the pass with his team to create an array of dishes served buffet style.
The Belgravia Ballroom’s Moulin Rouge theme promises to evoke the belle époque spirit as live swing and jazz music lures party goers onto the dance floor. The pace heats up at Céleste, The Lanesborough’s richly decorated grand dining room, which will be transformed into a nightclub for the evening, as the hotel’s resident DJ hits the decks with a house music set. Those who need a breather can retreat to the Garden Room, where a team of cigar sommeliers can suggest a celebratory Corona.
Tickets for the hotel’s House Party are priced from £250 per person, and a two-night stay will start at £845 per night – allowing guests to enjoy the morning after the night before at the 1,850sq m fitness club and spa or in The Library Bar, which will serve its famous Breakfast Martini – a blend of gin, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice and orange marmalade.
