The summer’s buzziest new charter yacht

The 86m Aquijo is hot enough for the Med and cool enough for Antarctica

One craft that promises to turn heads wherever she drops anchor in the Mediterranean this summer is new to the blue-chip charter roster at Y.CO: the 86m sailing yacht Aquijo (y.co; from €400,000 a week), a collaboration between Dutch yacht builders Oceanco, naval architect Bill Tripp and Vitters Shipyard. With cavernous interior volumes, a 91m mast, seven ensuite cabins and an indoor-outdoor “beach club”, she’s not just one of the largest sailing yachts ever built, she’s slated to be one of the buzziest – especially after she makes the transition later in the year to Antarctica
