When the England cricket season comes to a close, fans can take heart in a special dinner hosted by Lord’s Cricket Ground to celebrate the 30th year of Rainbow Trust, an organisation that provides emotional and practical support for the families of children with a life-threatening or terminal illness. Following reception drinks in the Pavilion, guests will make their way to the Long Room for dinner, where former England captain and batsman supreme Mike Gatting will share his cricketing stories.

The evening includes the chance to tour the players’ changing rooms with the Marylebone Cricket Club’s head of cricket, John Stephenson, while a live auction counts a signed bat from the Lord’s 2014 bicentenary celebration match among its lots. Profits from the ticket price and all auction proceeds go to the Rainbow Trust.
