Hardy Amies is celebrated for its modern take on classic men’s tailoring. The late eponymous couturier founded the company in 1945 before going on to revolutionise British menswear with his 1960s style guide The ABC of Men’s Fashion. The British marque is offering as a lot in How To Spend It’s charity auction a bespoke suit (worth £4,750) in the bidder’s choice of fabric and colour – in a style that reflects the brand’s rich heritage and fashion-forward flair.

How To Spend It is auctioning this suit in aid of Save the Children in an online sale hosted by Christie’s – now live and ending on Thursday December 11. Bidding starts from £1,700 at www.christies.com/htsi. For more information, visit our How To Give It page.
