Tony Gaziano and Dean Girling

Bespoke, made-to-order and ready-to-wear footwear, crafted from French and Swiss calfskin

Tony Gaziano and Dean Girling trained or worked at most of the UK’s top shoemakers before launching Gaziano & Girling in 2006. Their new shop on Savile Row offers bespoke (£3,600), made-to-order (£1,125) and ready-to-wear (Hayes Oxfords pictured, £925) designs, made at their factory in Northampton. Graceful lines, excellent colourations and a Goodyear welted sole – which makes the shoes surprisingly comfortable, even when new – are signature to their style, as seen in matte-croc loafers, mole suede Derbys and oak-grain finished leather slip ons. Only French or Swiss calfskin is used, and made-to-order pieces come in six shapes, five widths and some 80 styles.
