Sock tactics in Moscow

Italian sock virtuoso Bresciani opens its first standalone shop in Russia

Sock virtuoso Bresciani is opening its first standalone store in November in Crocus City Mall in Moscow. From here it will begin to experiment with private orders of its radically soft vicuña socks (£250 for knee-length), made at its factory in Spirano, Italy. Connoisseurs who favour its cashmere/silk hand-finished versions (£65, pictured), offered in 36 different colours, will find them at Volpe. Other options are available from Mr Porter (from £18), and for its pure-silk dress socks (£30) visit Neal & Palmer on Piccadilly.
