Summer is in the air this Easter, which has us thinking about the latest swimwear collaboration between Swedish brand CDLP and Lake Como’s iconic Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The capsule collection for men, set to launch May 15, comprises traditional shorts and briefs in a vibrant colour palette inspired by the signature style of the primo art deco hotel.

Life at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo is all about soaking in the views of the Grigne mountains, cruising on a classic Riva or floating in the pool, which is why it enlisted CDLP to create a collection suitable for all these leisure pursuits. The luxury underwear brand is known for its focus on sustainable fabrics and the entire collection – from the Aperitivo and Piscina swim shorts (€140-€160) to the oh-so-Italian Riva swim briefs (€90) – is designed in Econyl, a nylon fibre made from fishing nets and nylon waste.

Summer brights define the style of the range, which is available in Bellagio Blue, Como Blue, Alpine White and Tremezzo Orange – a vibrant shade that is synonymous with the hotel’s signature canopies. The collection is available online at mrporter.com and cdlp.com and at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
