Stacey Wood’s obsession with beautifully cut denim and merino wool translates into smashing vintage-accented menswear for her brand King & Tuckfield, named after her ballet-dancing grandmother Joan Marion King and paratrooper father Graham Aubrey Tuckfield. This season’s best pieces include the antique-vanilla fine-merino pocket tee shirt (£85) with gorgeous slubby texture, which drapes delightfully, and the 1950s-style textured polos (£170) with contrast tipping, which feel coolly authentic. Shirting (£175) in slightly rigid Italian slub cotton has stylish knife-pleated pockets, and while all the brand’s eco selvedge denim jeans are excellent, the regular Joe style (£225) is especially so.
