Massimo Alba’s non-conformist thinking is what makes his collections unique. This season, he has turned to yak wool, much of which is undyed to keep clothes chemical-free. “One of the reasons I love yak wool is because it is spun and woven by hand in Tibet. But I also just like the word ‘yak’,” he laughs. Two special pieces include a luscious charcoal-grey yak-wool hoodie (£622) and an enveloping yak-wool cardigan jacket (£876).
New ideas in the rest of the collection include olive-green mélange cashmere in an ultra-fine chain stitch that’s used for a thick rollneck (£672) to dynamic effect.
