Hermès debuts stunning new Airsilk bags

Waterproof and ultra-light holdalls and backpacks feature striking interlocking-harnesses motifs

Henri d’Origny has been designing Hermès prints for 50 years; he’s also responsible for the iconic Cape Cod watch. Now he’s created striking prints for these new Airsilk bags. The technical textured-silk holdall (£1,100) and backpack (£1,290) have leather-detailed straps to set off the interlocking-harnesses motif known as Cavalcadour, named after the decorations worn by horses belonging to Comte de Chambord. The bags are waterproof with hydro-resistant zips, and thanks to ultra-light construction, pack down to a remarkably small size.
