A new fabric made from pure camel yarn has been created for Caruso by the famous Loro Piana mill, sourced from the Bactrian camel, which lives in the Gobi desert. The resulting fabric, Gobigold, is lightweight and stretchy – perfect for jerseys and flannels. A panelled, zipped Gobigold jacquard cardigan (£2,500) with shaved beaver lining has a vintage accent. Other great knits include a rollneck (£720, pictured) with raglan sleeves, a handsome double-breasted Prince of Wales check suit (£1,630) and the knitted Gobigold Tosca jacket (£2,320). Frayed-edge Gobigold ties (£80) come in check or herringbone weaves.
