Harvey Nichols’ ambitious new menswear floor

Featuring edgy designs by Rick Owens, Pieter and Abasi Rosborough

Exclusive Rick Owens designs are just one of the draws of Harvey Nichols’ new menswear floor. Contemporary, industrial decor is the backdrop to 50 labels, covering leathers, jeans and tailoring, helpfully grouped by type rather than designer. I may have turned 46, but I was drawn nonetheless to the edgier styles: Owens’ elongated coated-cotton bomber (£810) and wide, cropped skate trousers (£445); new brand Pieter’s elegant sportswear, including weekend-friendly joggers (£245); and, at the more refined end, the futuristic luxe of Abasi Rosborough’s bronze slub-silk shirt (£540).
