Vilebrequin swimming trunks for Te Mana O Te Moana

Supporting the work of the nonprofit to protect Polynesian turtles

The cobalt-coloured turtles swimming across an emerald-green map of the world on Vilebrequin’s new limited-edition trunks represent more than another iconic print for the swimwear brand. From every pair sold, $10 will go to Te Mana O Te Moana, a nonprofit that helps protect Polynesian sea turtles.

The organisation’s clinic on Moorea – an island just northwest of Tahiti – has rescued more than 400 sea turtles since 2004 and released almost half of them back into the wild. Funds raised from sales of the trunks will help finance Te Mana O Te Moana’s day-to‑day operations, as well as supporting local education initiatives.

“I hope the print will raise awareness of the threats turtles face on our beautiful planet,” says Vilebrequin CEO Roland Herlory.
