Fine wallcoverings company Tektura has teamed up with the charity Bounce Back Project to produce a range of wallpapers printed with reproductions from the Kardo Findlater collection – a trove of over 3,000 works of art amassed by Alexander Kardo Sessoeff and his wife Jane Findlater.
Featuring an oil painting of George V (which also comes in a digitally remastered pop-art version) – along with designs portraying figures as varied as Venus and the Russian nobility – these wallpapers will help to fund the charity’s work assisting former prisoners with NVQ qualifications, training and employment. Those enrolled on Bounce Back’s training programmes have a near 100 per cent non-reoffending rate, and Tektura has invited them to take part in a project to design their own wallpaper, which they are in the process of creating.
