Rémy Martin cognac is returning to London to host its members’ club La Maison Rémy Martin for three weeks from Thursday February 16 to Saturday March 4 (except Sundays). The new two-floor site on Wardour Street will boast a cognac shop, gallery and basement bar, as well as a programme of intriguing events for members hosted by experts from the worlds of drink, food and fashion.
On street level, La Maison will feature The Boutique, a retail space open from midday to 4pm selling limited edition cognacs such as Rémy Martin’s recently released Carte Blanche à Baptiste Loiseau, as well as rarities usually only available in China and the US.
Then, from 4.30pm to midnight, members will have exclusive access via a pair of hidden doors to The Gallery, an after-work space where they can kick back with cognac-based cocktails and snacks, including macarons, cold meats, cheeses and antipasti. Here they can enjoy specially curated talks and lifestyle masterclasses (£12) from speakers set to include Formula One and IndyCar racing driver Max Chilton, Michelin-starred chef Jun Tanaka, sartorial icon Patrick Grant, art consultant Vicky Richardson and master mixologist Ago Perrone.
Those wishing to continue the party can then descend to the Maison’s speakeasy-style Basement, where La Maison Rémy Martin mixologists and high-energy music will keep things jumping from 9pm until midnight. Membership is free, by application via the Rémy Martin website.
