Luxury website VeryFirstTo.com has partnered with British furniture and interiors company Timothy Oulton to create what might just be the ultimate well-stocked drinks cabinet, complete with top-flight spirits, cigars and an award-winning bartender ready to satisfy to your every mixological need.
Priced at a stiff £121,448, the Ultimate Bar Cabinet features a show-stopping line-up of liquor including The Glenlivet Winchester 50 Yr Old Single Malt (£19,995) and a crystal Lalique decanter of Courvoisier L’Esprit de Josephine (£9,295), a rare cognac that was only released in a run of 14 decanters. A bottle of Dalmore Quintessence (£1,000), a Don Julio 1942 Extra Anejo tequila (£130) and the American craft gin Death’s Door (£50) are other highlights in an imaginatively curated spirits selection.
Big names from the equally head-turning wine list include a Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Romanée Conti 1997 (£18,995) and a 24ct gold-plated Cristal Gold Flacon Jeroboam (£16,995) from one of the most celebrated champagne vintages in recent times – 2002.
Cigar specialist James J Fox has also curated a dream line-up of 40 cigars to go with the cabinet including the Partagás Gran Reserva Lusitanias (£260 for four) and Hoyo de Monterrey Diademas Vintage 1980s (£200 for four), which come housed in one of the most beautiful and well-crafted humidors available: the Elie Bleu Alba Blue 110 (£1,999).
Accompanying it all is Gibson bar’s Marian Beke, a bartender who found fame devising the exquisite cocktails at London’s award-winning Nightjar bar. For the duration of a weekend, Beke will remain on hand to make cocktails tailored to each guest’s taste, and provide masterclasses in the art of the mixed drink.
The vintage-style, leather-panelled Timothy Oulton Hudson Bar Cupboard (£6,100) comprises intricate, hand-crafted compartments designed to house each of these delicacies, but it is also available to purchase without the contents (and likewise, the contents can also be bought individually).
