On November 11, the seventh edition of Only Watch, a charity auction of one-off timepieces will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Geneva. The collection will be shown in eight locations around the world in the lead up to the auction and comprises 50 new watches from brands including Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and Ulysse Nardin, which has donated a specially designed Marine Tourbillon. Another highlight is a new watch by Hublot, the Big Bang Unico Sapphire Usain Bolt, which is crafted from transparent sapphire and is estimated to raise €46,000 to €73,000. The face features the green and gold of the sprinter’s native Jamaican flag and the counter at 9pm bears the silhouette of the athlete’s iconic “lightning Bolt” victory sign. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Association Monégasque Contre les Myopathies, a Monaco-based charity that raises funds for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
