To celebrate her first solo exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery this month – which showcases female nudes wearing a tarbouche, or fez – French-Lebanese painter Mouna Rebeiz has invited a group of luminaries to recreate a version of the Middle Eastern hat to be auctioned in support of the non-profit association Innocence in Danger.

Those taking part include fashion names Elie Saab, Maria Grachvogel, Giles Deacon and Lanvin (pictured), milliners Philip Treacy and Stephen Jones, actresses Helen McCrory and Naomie Harris, and architects Zaha Hadid and Eva Jiricna.

All proceeds from the sale of the tarbouches, as well as those from Rebeiz’s paintings, will go to the charity, which works in 29 countries to protect children from sexual abuse.
