Gina de Givenchy is a former fashion executive for designers such as Chanel and Jil Sander. She is also a cancer survivor. When Gina underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy, she became aware of the lack of elegant accessories to help her cope with hair loss. So she created her own line of chic headscarves, headbands and beanies under the GeeG brand name. For 2019 GeeG has launched the Resort collection of headbands ($45-$125) in cotton and silk. There is also a Gifts We Love range of Taffin candles ($65) and rings ($2,000) in rose gold and ceramic, designed by her husband James Taffin de Givenchy. Ten per cent of every GeeG sale goes to Family Reach, a charity providing financial assistance, support and education to families affected by cancer.
