This December Burberry and Vivienne Westwood unveil a capsule collection to raise funds for the Cool Earth rainforest charity, of which Westwood has been patron for over 10 years. The 16-piece limited edition line pays homage to both British heritage and Westwood’s iconic collections, with a selection of her provocative 1970s and ’90s unisex styles reimagined in Burberry’s vintage check. The collection (from £55) features double-breasted jackets (£1,150), a hugger jacket (£1,250), wool trousers (£590), a mini kilt (£750), boxer shorts (£55) and oversized T-shirts (£290). Five items will be customised by Westwood and put up for auction later this year, and all proceeds from the auction – in addition to a percentage from the sale of the collection – will support Cool Earth’s commitment to halt deforestation and its impact on climate change.
