To celebrate its 30th anniversary and mark the festive season, Porta Romana has commissioned five one-of-a-kind table lamps to be sold at auction on the brand’s website on November 29 in support of the charity SOS Africa. The lamps (estimate £2,000 each) are being exhibited at Porta Romana’s Chelsea Harbour Design Centre showroom and are the result of collaborations with Firmdale Hotels’ Kit Kemp, interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, actor, artist and writer Adebayo Bolaji, Porta Romana’s longstanding collaborator, author Naomi Stokes and design duo Turner Pocock. The funds raised from the auction will be used to help build an education centre for the children of seasonal workers in Grabow’s Ouderbrug Farm in South Africa.
