More women than ever are running for office in this year’s midterm elections in the US, and accessories brand MZ Wallace is celebrating them with a chic launch to raise funds for She Should Run, a non-profit organisation that supports, promotes and offers guidance to women considering going into politics.

On Thursday October 4, Monica Zwirner and Lucy Wallace Eustice’s fashion brand will unveil a limited edition of 700 Give a Damn quilted tote bags ($235), designed in collaboration with New York’s ethical cashmere label Lingua Franca – the company behind jumpers with such slogans as “Poverty is sexist” and “I miss Barack”. All proceeds will go to She Should Run.
