A chance to play cricket with Mark Ramprakash and Dominic Cork

A fundraising game with former England cricket stars in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, followed by dinner and an auction at the HAC

September 12 sees the City Invitational Cup contested for the third time at the HAC cricket ground in the heart of the City of London. The T20 match in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity will see The Soldiers’ Charity XI, captained by the former England batsman Mark Ramprakash, take on the City Select XI, captained by the former England paceman Dominic Cork. Ramprakash’s team will be made up of members of the Army Cricket XI and supporters of the charity, while Cork will lead out members of the HAC club and city professionals.

There will be afternoon tea and refreshments, followed by a dinner in the HAC with a charity auction hosted by Jeffrey Archer. Tickets range from £60 each for afternoon tea to £1,800 for 10 for the whole event (bespoke packages including playing places are available on request). Fifty per cent of the proceeds of ticket sales will go to charity.
