On Friday April 20 at The Exceptional Sale in New York, Christie’s will auction Daniel Craig’s personal (left-hand-drive) Aston Martin Vanquish (estimate $400,000-$600,000). All profits will be donated to The Opportunity Network, which supports students from under-represented communities and helps them develop the skills to achieve their college and career goals – 90 per cent of its students are the first in their families to graduate.

The car, one of 100 “Centenary Vanquish” models built in 2014 to celebrate Aston Martin’s 100th anniversary, was customised by the marque’s chief creative director Marek Reichman in consultation with Craig. The winning bidder will also get a behind-the-scenes tour with Reichman of the carmaker’s HQ in Gaydon, Warwickshire. The car will be on view at Christie’s New York from Thursday April 12.
