This month, Klosters will provide a spectacular backdrop for the 2018 Business Challenge, a competitive skiing event that raises funds for Supporting Wounded Veterans. The challenge sees able-bodied and disabled skiers competing – in teams of four – in a ski marathon and a giant slalom.

Each team is expected to raise at least £7,000 for the charity, which offers mentoring, employment advice and special pain management to wounded veterans transitioning into civilian life. About 25 veterans are expected to take part in the challenge. “Through skiing we restore their confidence,” says charity founder Gilly Norton, “and show them the art of the possible.”
