Concept studio Artwise has invited more than 50 artists to design an artwork using a 20cm3 Perspex box for an exhibition called Cure3. The works (from £1,000) will be sold on March 13-15 at Bonhams, New Bond Street, to raise funds for research charity The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.

The artists, who include Damien Hirst, Ron Arad and Grayson Perry, have been given just three words to inspire them: slow, stop and reverse from the charity’s message: “Help us fund research to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s disease.” London-based Dutch ceramicist Bouke de Vries’ cube The Story of Parkinson’s (£3,000) features a broken statue of the Chinese goddess of compassion, the fragments covered in words taken from the Wikipedia entry for Parkinson’s: “the first information that most people come across when looking into the disease”.
