Pyjamas that are beautiful enough for the breakfast table

A young and rather beautiful girl of my acquaintance recently wowed her fellow villa companions by appearing very early in the morning in her pyjamas – everybody, but everybody, wanted a pair. What were they? Where did they come from?

From Bodas, it appears. They are made of fine cotton with a subtle shadow stripe, and what makes them so appealing is a sort of Katharine Hepburn androgynous chic – a shirt-like top (£35) and some drawstring trousers (£28). That makes them sound more ordinary than they are – check the cut, the detail and the collar, and you’ll see why everybody wanted a pair. They’re good enough to make an appearance at the breakfast table.
