Readers will get their rocks on for this diamond event with an Edge

A dazzling network opportunity

Ice-loving female readers of How To Spend It will be keen to get their hands on an invitation to a dazzling exhibition of diamond jewellery and a discussion about the rocks with bespoke jeweller Donald Edge.

Edge has over 25 years’ experience in the business, and is known for his use of high-quality stones, excellent design and superlative service. A perfect example of this is his diamond earrings with two marquise natural yellow diamonds (2.25ct), four 4.5ct pear-shaped “G Rare White” colour diamonds and 2.5 carats of micro-set round brilliant-cut diamonds (pictured). It can be no coincidence that he is also known for his distinguished clientele (singer Sade is a customer) and that his clients often stick with him, considering him their “personal jeweller”.

Despite its title, the women-only “It’s Not Legal” evening on February 9 is being hosted by City law firm Withers. The event is part of its annual programme of networking events for ladies – and since Withers represents some of the wealthiest individuals in the US, Europe and Asia, the diamonds exhibition and talk are a natural fit.

Drinks and canapés will be served as guests gather in sparkling company – and while all the diamonds used are non-conflict, you might expect a minor skirmish if Edge asks whether anyone wants to try on some of his fabulously fine jewellery.
