The opening of the new Nicholas Kirkwood store in London’s Mayfair this Friday (May 13) – a trove brimming with statement sculptural heels – will be music to every Kirkwood enthusiast’s ears. But the store will not only play grotto to the latest Kirkwood shoe collection, it will also temporarily house (until stocks run out) a very limited re-edition (only 40 pieces) of Kirkwood’s spring/summer 2010 jewellery collection for Atelier Swarovski.

“I felt it was important to stay true to the aesthetic that I apply when designing my shoes – sharp but ultimately feminine, and a considered diversity of texture,” says Kirkwood of the popular, previously sold-out collection, which includes the geometric pavé crystal punctuated rings in gold and silver (£75 for silver, £100 for gold) and bold cuffs, including the slim silver cuff adorned in light green leather and accentuated with turquoise crystals (pictured, £125).
