As shoppers increasingly turn from the high street to the internet, even Savile Row stalwarts have been making the transition to cyberspace retail. At 20 years old, the Richard James brand is a young upstart by its neighbours’ standards, and its new online store has seen it join the others on the internet with youthful enthusiasm.
The virtual shop showcases sartorial essentials, such as shirts (third picture, £85), ties (from £55) and belts (second picture, £121.50), along with smart knitwear (from £210) and jackets from the RJ Casual range (wax cotton biker jacket, first picture, £280). It also offers a wide variety of accessories, including hats (£95) and gloves (£70) that are perfect for the winter weather. The brightly coloured leather wallets (£121.50) look particularly striking, and the scarf collection (from £155) is dominated by indulgent cashmere and alpaca.
As it’s currently the sale season, the website features discounts across the board, so customers don’t miss out on that part of the in-store experience.
