I woke up this morning with a bit of a headache, maybe a few too many martinis with my dear friend Ger. It was a great catch-up and before we knew it, we had missed the gigs that were on in the city last night!
I have had a crazy busy morning of meetings with my design team. I am in London this evening so I am delighted to leave knowing that everyone is very excited about the forthcoming collection.
The handmade invitations for my show during London Fashion Week are finished and will go out next week. I hope the guests like them.
In the afternoon I have a meeting with my MD, Monica, who has just returned from her holiday in the South of France (she is looking great!).
Mon and I have so much business and project work to catch up on. We discuss the advertising campaign for the new John Rocha jewellery collection and the TV ad campaign for Debenhams. Talking about Debenhams, it is of great sadness that Rob Templeman, the company’s CEO, is leaving after eight years of service. I look forward to our dinner together at Scott’s before his departure. We both share a strong connection with our native Hong Kong. I wish him the very best of luck.
As the weather is looking lousy, Odette and I have decided to spend this weekend at the villa in Cap Ferrat. I am looking forward to dinner this Saturday night at Restaurant Angula, Eze Beach. Roasted sea bass in salt and a little champagne watching the sun go down. I can’t wait…
