Day: 1

My weekend starts! The last period has been very hectic for me: I presented a special collection in Florence in January, I’ve been working on the autumn/winter pre-collections and on the Alberta Ferretti and Philosophy shows… I think it’s now time to rest a little bit.

I’ve decided to have a quick break but I don’t want to go very far so I head to Tuscany to spend two days in a spa; I really need some time off. I treat myself with massages and thalasso treatments so that when I leave I’m feeling a new person.

On Sunday afternoon I have to go back to Milan to attend a special event. I teamed with Harper’s Bazaar UK and Browns, along with five other female designers, to design a special T-shirt whose proceeds will go in aid of Women for Women International, a non-profit organisation that support women’s lives in countries devastated by war such as Iraq, Rwanda and Congo.

I feel honoured to be able to support this important cause with my creation. I join Lucy Yeomans, editor if chief of Harper’s Bazaar UK, at 10 Corso Como to celebrate this collaboration and present my unique T-shirt. After that I have dinner with my family and friends.

The autumn-winter fashion week is almost over but there’s no time to waste. Tomorrow I will go back to the factory and I will start working on the inspirations for the next season. I can’t wait to present my spring summer collections!
