Glassware that adds sparkle to the Christmas table

For jollying up the Christmas table, Ikea is always a good bet. New this winter is some wonderfully vintage-looking glass. It comes bearing the sort of unpronounceable name that seems straight from an Icelandic saga – Yngaren – but at £2.99 for bowls perfect for sugared almonds, chocolates or even Christmas pud, and £5.99 for bigger ones (just right for piles of clementines), nobody’s complaining. They come in soft pink or grey glass, and there are bottles (pictured, £6.99 for three) and soap dispensers (£5.99) as well.
