Graphic designer Neal Whittington is a self-confessed stationery obsessive. He is also a man with an eye for a rising market, launching e-emporium Present and Correct just as stationery – perhaps in a mini backlash against e-mails and social networking sites – is becoming more desirable.

Divided into eight departments, the site is a constantly evolving showcase of Whittington’s discoveries. Mail, for example, contains old Airmail Letter Packs (first picture, £12.50 for a wallet containing 24 envelopes and a pad of wafer-thin paper) and some Czech-style Label Notecards that will prove irresistible to anyone with a passion for geometric illustrations (third picture, £3.25 each), while Organise features proper leather satchels (fourth picture, £78 and right on trend) and an Office Shelf Set with a distinctly De Stijl vibe (fifth picture, £120).

Most fabulous of all, however, is the Print section, which boasts eight pages of vintage posters, including Donald Smith’s screen print of a smiling coach driver: bright, bold and simple, it is quite the best example of midcentury graphic design I’ve seen in a long time (second picture, £80).
