A boon for travellers – Alfresco Anti Bug Bite Moisturizer. It not only smells good (something that could never be said of Deet or Jungle Formula), it also nourishes while it protects. Since the face is where most of us most hate putting anti-insect lotions, it’s a real breakthrough. It uses cinnamon leaf oil, patchouli oil and cedarwood oil to repel insects. £25 for 200ml, or four travel-sized 50ml bottles for the same price. There’s also Acqua d’Alfresco (£30 for 50ml), a natural fragrance that repels insects.
