If you’re inclined to be a bit careless on the beach, dropping technology into the sand, or simply enjoy bowling your iPhone at brick walls, this amusing rubber brick from Griffin of Nashville, Tennessee is for you. The Survivor case is said to be the first military-specification iPhone/iPod Touch case, and you can see it being splendidly abused on Griffin’s website, where it has succesfully survived being dropped from a three-storey building into a vat of maple syrup. One thing it doesn’t possess is waterproof-ness. It’s fine in heavy rain – just try to avoid dropping it in the pool.
