A couple of years ago, I featured a device called The Sanctuary, which you bought in droves. The Sanctuary was a cleverly designed tray for car keys and wallets which also plugged into the mains and had several flying leads with charging tips, so from among your pocket detritus you could also charge phone, iPod, satnav etc.

This, the new Idapt I3, is a well-made desk version of the same concept, minus the trough for wallet and keys but with more rigid charging points for three gadgets. It’s perfect for the office and comes with the six most popular tips. Additional tips for less common gadgets are available.
