Twisters

A cool, uncomplicated, and useful gadget

Twisters

It’s shameful how few Australian gadgets I get to review (as in none at all that I can think of), so g’day to Twisters, which aren’t, I grant you, a complicated piece of technology, but are ideal for travel.

Twisters are cool little pieces of rubbery stuff to keep your headphone wires free of those seemingly impossible – and always infuriating – tangles which they are prone to get into. They came about after a Sydney-based entrepreneur, Lara Solomon, spotted a similar product on street stalls in Thailand. Her company, LaRoo, designed and made them to Western standards and they’re now available in black, pink and “Funkalicious” (pink/yellow). Twisters can also be customised for promotional gifts.
