For some gentle sashaying down the slopes, note the launch – in Klosters, Switzerland – of PT Ski (www.ptski.com; from £620 for four nights, half board, with transfers), a ski company named after the Palmer-Tomkinson family, who founded it.
For generations they have been wearing skis before they were out of nappies, and their relationships with chalet owners and hoteliers help pull strings. The standout difference: they try to ensure that at least half a client’s time on the slopes is in the company of a rep (including the odd P-T). It’s an alluring prospect for social and skilled skiers alike.
