An entertainment village pops up in Sardinia

While some revel in England’s bucolic early summer, others will be setting the Codecasa on course for the heat of Sardinia. In Porto Cervo (pictured), May 15 sees the inauguration of Promenade du Port (www.promenadeduport.com), a 2010-season entertainment “village” with 29 venues featuring a roster of pop-up retail, dining and cultural boutiques and events, including satellites of Milan’s leading design gallery Spazio Rossana Orlandi and London’s Gallery FUMI, as well as a café-lounge designed by Patricia Urquiola.
