Aren’t these nice? Britain’s Bowers & Wilkins has taken its time developing its new P5 headphones as a stab at the world’s nicest way of listening to an iPod/iPad/iPhone. The resulting design is unusual, attractive – and ultra-comfortable with its sheep’s-leather oblong ear caps.

The P5 comes with two leads; one for normal use, one with an in-line microphone and controls for the iPhone. You can swap the leads around by removing one of the ear cups, which is held on magnetically. They sound smooth, clear and satisfyingly loud when asked to be. Quality product all the way.
